Dr Riker has seen me through many “bumps” in the road and I’ve always felt his caring hand. I’m grateful to have a physician with his competence and compassion.

Dr Riker is awesome. He’s very knowledgeable and cares about my health. I had an appointment with some concerns and he made me feel so much better and will follow up with me.

Been going to Dr. Riker at St. Joseph's Internal Medicine for the past dozen years. He has been excellent and seen me thru several major medical issues with knowledge, respect and support. Not sure what is up with a prior reviewer, but I suspect it reflects the reviewer and not the doctor.

I was a patient for a few years. Needed something on record for college, never got the paperwork. Always told it's the worst possible diagnosis to find out it was not even an issue. Does not pursue further evaluation or recommend any other tests to get to the bottom of your issue because he is too busy. Felt like I was made to be a hypochondriac in the office... he didn't help me get diagnosed and eventually I got to another office that did.

I have always been treated like there were no other patients to be seen that day. Dr. Riker never feels rushed even when waiting room was full. Joanne his MA is wonderful, very caring.

I have been Dr. Riker's patient for over twenty years. He has always given freely of his time. He has called me after hours on more than one occasion to reassure me or answer questions. He has gone out of his way to help me understand and navigate my way thru several serious medical problems.

Went to Dr. Riker for years. We've moved away and miss him terribly. He spent time with me, talked through my symptoms, concerns and diagnosis. Exercised caution, meaning he didn't go the immediate, presumptuous or non-fact based root. Even saw me on a weekend once. His sometimes dry personality doesn't overshadow his expertise or care for his patient. Good guy.....good doctor!

I liked DR Riker, But his MA Joanne was always whispering in his ears about patients and taking on issues not appropriate for a MA as I am a RN and was going to report a issue but never did, I left his practice as a patient due to Joanne as i felt she controlled this MD and it resulted in being profiled, serious medical issues being addressed. I could see a line being crossed and her manipulation of this doctor. You work on a professional level and do not bring in your marriage issues into the practice, i left maybe 10 years or more ago, I think Riker would of been on the top of his game if he had kept his professional practice .. professional .. and not allow a MA to tell him what patient she did not like or some crazy complaint, it got creepy and in the end she was not even doing her job except tp grab Riker any chance she could get. I hope his practice changed cause that fake smile on her face is a facet of cruelity and to gain what she can get.
