Dr. Kerry Marie Sullivan, MD

Dr. Sullivan has an uncaring bedside manner and did not listen to my concerns about how my pectus was causing me palpitations and to pass out during strenuous exercise. She installed the wrong size bar and when asked about why it was hurting so much months later she said, "I didn't have a big enough bar at the time so we improvised with the placement". The surgery was not successful and I had to have the bar removed earlier than expected due to horrible pain and deformed ribs under my armpits. Seek a second opinion before trusting Dr. Sullivan

Kerry Sullivan could better inform Pectus Excavatum patients of Decreased exercise tolerance Rapid heartbeat or heart palpitations Recurrent respiratory infections Wheezing or coughing Chest pain Heart murmur Fatigue Dizziness Mental Distress Instead of saying that they tend to be skinny and that the condition is solely cosmetic. Approaching a decade of this condition and just wish I wasn't mislead by this person. (Even the skinny statement is not entirely true as deformed ribs and rib flare may cause potbelly.)
