Dr. Ketan Thanki, MD

I am fully aware that every patient's experience may be different from mine but I don't want someone to potentially miss out on the opportunity to amazing care based off of one bad review. I feel it is my duty to give credit when credit is due! Dr. Thanki went above and beyond from my very first appointment to make sure I understood everything about my condition and what steps would be taken to rectify it! He is very personable and attentive. My sigmoidectomy was a success and he left no stone unturned throughout the entire process! I must also shout out his entire team because everyone was amazing!

Absolutely AWFUL! On Wednesday 2/7/24 my mother went in for a routine colonoscopy performed by Dr. Ketan Thanki at Henderson Hospital, apparently he was running late that day as well. After procedure she had lots of abdominal pain so she was admitted into hospital for observation, the next morning they discovered her spleen has been torn/ruptured by Dr. Thanki so they had to perform emergency surgery to remove her spleen. She then was placed into ICU for a week and Dr. Thanki never even came to check on his patient, well not until I filed a grievance with the hospital, then he finally came by room after 5 days and told my mom it's a one in ten thousand chance this happens... but it did. How many times has this happened with Dr. Thanki? Will it happen again? The public has a right to know.
