I’m passionate about helping clients work through the consequences of childhood emotional neglect as it often impacts how we form relationships as adults. There’s a lot of suffering that comes as a result of emotional neglect/trauma, not just relationship issues. There’s typically anxiety, depression, anger, low self-esteem, poor boundaries, feeling overwhelmed, a deep longing for, as well as, fear of connection, interpersonal conflict, etc.As an attachment-oriented therapist, I approach individual therapy knowing that we are biologically programmed for connection. My approach combines evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Psychodynamic Therapy.
