Thank you so much Dr Balter for getting rid of my pain and restoring my life! Most importantly you got me off Vicodin, Soma, and Xanax which was controlling me worse than my pain and I didn't even know it. At first I didn't listen to you because my previous pain doc gave me those horrible drugs, so I felt entitled to get them from you. I'm so glad you patiently stuck w me even though I argued w you to get my drugs of choice. I know you understood it was the drugs that made me a total brat and not want to accept your help! You substituted less addictive drugs and did your marvelous procedures to get rid of my pain, then weaned me off the remaining drugs. I realize now you were right, those drugs hijacked my brain! My wife Merosticka started her experience with Midwest pain clinic a couple years ago now! She saw doctor balter for her excruciating chronic pain in Kearney, Ne before he moved on to Omaha! He did a wonderful job in Kearney, and has not disappointed whatsoever in Omaha! It is sometimes tough for us because we live a little over 5 hours away from Omaha! Trying to get there once a month, while trying to run a business, and feed the kids is tough sometimes! But I guarantee you, doctor balter, the nurses, receptionists, and pharmacy has been nothing but excellent in this journey to help my wife live the life she deaerves! And I will tell you, life is better! Still work to do, but thank goodness for Midwest pain clinic, doctor balter and staff! Thank You!!

When we meet and discuss my treatment he does not listen to me. I was with Methodist Pain Clinic and we tried every medication made in the U.S. at that time and the only medication we found that actually works is the Hydrocodone and he took me off one month then gave it back the next month and took it away again on our next visit...
