Dr. Kevin Daniel Bay, MD

Dr. Bay is pretty rude to be honest. I didn't see him more than a few times (I'm a relatively healthy young person), but I got bad vibes from him. I stuck with him only because I hoped he had good medical knowledge behind his demeanor (I'm looking for a good dr, not a 5 star hotel butler, so I have a higher tolerance from medical professionals for a bad attitude), but still... I question if he even listened to me. He also ran expensive tests during an annual physical without warning me, which cost me some money. He is no longer at the Del Webb location by the way, not sure where his new office is located. I really wanted to like him though-- his credentials & experience are exactly what I wanted in a doctor.

Worst experience with a physician ever. In the 10 minutes he was in the room with he probably said less than a dozen words. No personality, or bedside manner. Our friend who is the patient felt the negativity immediately. I said to give him a chance. Second appointment was even worse. I finally called to see about changing PCP and was greatly relieved to find out that Dr. Bay is no longer with the office.

I needed a primary care close to my home so I chose Optum Care and was assigned, Dr. Bay. I have had many doctors since I move around a lot. He is by far the worst doctor I have experienced in my life. You tell him your symptoms and then he stares at you and gives you no feedback as to what it might be. if he spends 10 minutes with you consider yourself lucky.

Worst experience ever! I Scheduled a check up for my mom who recently had a pacemaker implanted. I informed him she was experiencing pain/numbness in her legs and irregular heart beat when she is too close to the microwave or in my kitchen for too long. He didn't say anything, he checked her heart, pressed on her stomach, touched her leg then said "OK" and moved onto working on his computer. He asked no questions regarding her condition or how she was feeling...literally NO QUESTIONS! I asked him if it was normal for her to feel pain/numbness or any discomfort while in a kitchen or by a microwave and he said.."I've never heard of that" and that's it...nothing else! He only spoke when asked a question and replied with one word answers. Once he was done typing on his computer he stood up and said "ok let's get out of here to get lab work done"....lab work for what?! There was no explanation of what the lab work was for. Then he left the room, didn't wait to direct us and disappeared!… We had to find someone else to let us know where the lab was. He provided no instructions or recommendations on what we needed to do next, he said maybe a total of 10 words to us the whole visit. Like I said, worst experience ever!

I moved to Las Vegas about one year ago, so I needed to find a primary doctor. I chose Kevin Bay because his office was close to where I live. I regret doing it! He is not personable, nor does he seem to care about his patients. When I had an office visit when my wife accompanied me, he completely ignored her (didn't even introduce himself to her). Getting referrals to specialists is like pulling teeth, and he told me that he had a limit of how many referrals he could give out. If this is true, then he should be concerned about how well his patients are being treated. I plan on finding another PCP

I have seen Dr Bay several times and he rarely speaks, does not tell me to get procedures when they are due, checks my heart and he is gone. He does refill my prescriptions that I had when I first started seeing him. He never asks me how I am doing or what is wrong. I need to change doctors.

Terrible experience. Not Friendly, Rude, Would not answer our questions. Never checked my husbands vitals. In the room with him less than 2 minutes. Very uncomfortable.

Dr. Bay was terrific. He made me feel very comfortable, was understanding, knowledgeable and patient, especially with all the questions I posed to him. Most of all, he really cared, unlike other physicians who tend to look at the clock while speaking to you. HIghly recommended.
