Dr. Kevin Glenn Bays, MD

I saw Dr. Bays 3 times. I waited for over 60 minutes in the lobby before seeing him the first two times. The third visit, I waited 10 minutes after I arrived 8 minutes late. He proceeded to smugly threaten to mark me late. He is not the Mother Theresa he claims to be. My appointments were scarcely more than 10 minutes long before the prescription of medication. News flash: people like him are easily replaced. Save yourself the TIME and pick another. Otherwise, download a movie to your phone before going to your appointments. People like him shouldn't be anywhere near people looking for help. Summary: Pill farming psychiatrist who plays games with patients.

It has been a while, but I remember an overall positive experience.

I had never seen a Psychiatrist until I seen Dr. Bays. He is a pleasant and caring physician. Unfortunately I only got to see him in the hospital due to every time I had an office appointment I was in the hospital. Dr. Bays does not get in a hurry, listens to his patients and always explains what he is doing and why he is doing it. If he changed my medication he told me what he was changing it to and why. If he added new meds he told me so and why he was doing it.When in the hospital when he would leave my room he would tell me if he would see me the next day and if not he told me who would be seeing me. He would also tell me that if I needed anything to have the nurses call him. His bedside manner was unremarkable, something you don't see nowadays. It was obvious the he passed "Bedside Manners" with flying colors! could not have ask for a better Dr. I personally from past experience of other physicians do not mind waiting on a good Dr. as they are few and far between. I felt that… he truly cared. Unfortunately my employer at the time dropped my Insurance from "day one" and I had quite a "large" bill that I could not pay at the time and the "office rules" were not to see patients until the bill was paid down or off. If I could go back to today I would in a Heartbeat. I was willing to drive quite a distance to see him. If I can get things straightened out and he would except me back I would run back! I just can't say enough good about him! I highly recommend Dr. Bays!

The poster suggesting "moral turpitude" clearly has no idea what they are talking about. He ALWAYS spends as much time with patients as they require. That's why he tends to run behind. I find it comforting to know that a doctor will spend time with me.

Although office staff is kind and helpful, Dr. Bay's shows an alarming lack of caring and has been extremely negligent.I truly would like to caution others.

Dr. Bays is kind, understanding and patient and is not arrogant at all.

Dont want to wait an hour for any Doctor
