Dr. Kevin Lee Bell, MD

I went to see him a few times. He is a nice guy BUT you don’t get much time and “if” you have more than one complaint, he gets irritated very quickly and says “we will talk about that later”. If you still go to him, don’t go late in the afternoon because he rushes to leave exactly at 5. Choose carefully. Staff is great though!

Dr. Bell is a fantastic doctor but don't plan on getting in to see him if you are actually sick. The staff, or policy, makes it nearly impossible to get an emergency appointment for something not serious enough for urgent care. Sad because he is a great physician .

I "HIGHLY" recommend Dr. Bell. He has been our family doctor for 10 years. He is the most personable and caring doctor I have ever known. The office staff and nurses are great! Our 7 year old daughter "LOVES" to go and see her Dr. Bell. How much more can you ask for? From 1-10 Br. Bell is a 20++++.

I went to be seen for an apt., but I was unexpectedly surprised by a new contract of privacy to sign. It gives their office complete freedom to give any information they want to insurance or DCFS. It was more than four small paragraphs of what rights you sign away in your privacy (I have signed privacy papers for doctors before but this one read in a much more invasive way). It was obviously written by a lawyer so the wording needs a magnifying glass and time to consider, but they gave me an ultimatum to sign the paper or leave. There was no time or consideration given to signing so many of my rights away. So, I am leaving this practice. I have been upset with them in the past. Dr. Bell agreed to a price for seeing my child but his office charged twenty dollars above that price, and they would not change it. He also put that my husband had cancer on medical paper work, which was wrong, so he had to redo the paper work and his office still charged us ten dollars for the corrected paper… work. His office does not work with me at all with unfair added charges. There seems to be a real attitude problem overall, and although he is a really good doctor, I would not recommend him for the reasons I listed.
