I have had the same child in the ER for stitches on the face. Both times Dr. Berning was on call and would not come in to stitch my child's face. The first ER visit was at Lutheran Hospital at 11PM the second time was at Parkview Regional during the day. I am highly disheartened that this MD would not show up to help when HE IS ON CALL and would turn around and blame the ER doctor for saying they could handle it.

Dr. Berning and Michelle handled my reconstruct repair and replacements from the results of a previous surgery conducted by another plastic surgeon during my bilateral mastectomy. I had been in pain, numbness, restriction of movement, and anxiety for 2 years. Dr. Berning listened, read my reports and completely changed by life by starting over and fixing all of the issues. Totally satisfied. Can't believe the difference; no more numbness, pain or restriction. No more anxiety that was never going to go away without taking the chance on someone else to actually fix it.

Very nice, patient, caring and skilled! I would chose him again for any other cosmetic surgery.
