The knowledge that Dr Bluemel has is priceless. He has ordered test for my husband and it saved his life several times. He figures things out what is going on quickly. He is very thorough! He is very positive and he will figure out what is wrong!!

Doesn't let you advocate in your care I'm trying to talk my relative into finding a new primary dr. He doesn't listen patient, care about patients wants or needs. You should be able to get a second opinion, get referral to female dr if you feel more comfortable with female vs male for female care and listen when the patient has been in pain for a yr +! You know your body better than anyone! If something is wrong than figure it out.Don't do minimal care then say it's fine when the pain won't go away or do nothing.Especially when this patient worked hard all their life and have great insurance that you can go anywhere to be seen. I won't be allowing this to happen anymore otherwise he won't be my loved one primary doctor anymore. Along with taking complaints higher up about poor care and concerns.I promise that.Some of his care on others makes no sense but I won't go there with others issues. Ps 2nd opinions also is a patients right ALWAYS! If u need to see a specialist u… have the right to choice who u wanna see if dr is in your insurance network. Wasting a appointment to see surgeon u set up when patients has appointment days later to she surgeon patient would like to see is a waste of time for both patient and dr along with unnecessary cost to insurance and patient paying co pay.
