Kevin T. Bonn, DMD
Through dentistry, I have been able to connect with so many different people and have a profound impact on their lives. Working with so many unique individuals keeps me invigorated and humbled. I love to see the changes in confidence and self-esteem when my patients’ health and appearance are improved. I also love the diversity in my patients! No two are alike and they keep each day new and interesting.
Education and Continuing Education
Prior to becoming a dentist, I received my BS degree from the University of Kentucky in 1980 before continuing on to the University of Louisville to attain my DMD degree in 1984.
A lot has changed in dentistry within the past 25 years! I know that in order to provide the best services and treatments for my patients, I must always keep up to date with the latest methods and technologies. I am very active in continuing education in a variety of ways. Over the years I have completed continuums from the Dawson Center for …Advanced Dentistry and the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dentistry. I am also a graduate and alum of the Pride Institute.
Locally, I am a member of the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and I am active in two of my local dental study groups as well. I find participating in continuing education becomes an inspiration to continue to aspire and achieve excellence in the quality of care that I and my team provide and reflects our mission statement for our office.
In the Office
My team is very personable and friendly. They contribute to building relationships with our patients. We take care of our patients in a warm, caring and compassionate manner. My team is also committed to providing quality and excellence in dental care. Every individual on the team has been in the dental profession for over twenty years reflecting the love of what they do.
Although we are very professional in our delivery of dental care, the team is very personable and friendly which brings a relaxed and jovial atmosphere to the office. We love to have fun, and are often having a laugh with patients!
In the Community
I have been involved with numerous community organizations, I have served on my church’s parish council, been president of my church’s men’s club, been on the board of the YMCA, and have been a member of the Lake Mary Rotary Club and Sanford Breakfast Rotary Club. I donate time each year to Dentistry From the Heart, which provides free dental care to those in need. I have also been on mission trips to Mexico, providing care to those less fortunate.
My wife, Jill, and I have lived here for 35 years, and are grateful that we have raised our two daughters in such a wonderful community. In my spare time, I like weight training, aerobics, swimming, golfing and biking. I also love rooting for the Miami Dolphins, but will also pull for the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals!
