Dr. Kevin Jay Broder, MD

Is it possible to have a negative star? This is the most arrogant, incompetent, and unprofessional MD I have ever seen. He has no business working in the Emergency Department as a non Board Certified MD. He does not know what he's doing. His bedside manor is atrocious. I will never have him care for me or a family member ever again. Veterans deserve better care than to have him working there.

Dr. Broder is one of the very rare professionals in the medical scene who really tunes in and listens, thinks critically and out of the box, engages in nuanced integral diagnostics and addressing problems of the body as a whole. Thank you, Doctor. O.I.

I recently saw Dr. Broder in the ER of the MSP VAMC. Dr. Broder provided me with prompt and direct care. As a former military medic, I always scrutinize clinicians and the care I receive. He provided me with a thorough exam and was compassionate as he listened to my needs. Dr. Broder was straight to the point and accurate with his assessment.

My husband was treated today by Dr. Broder at the Minneapolis VA Emergency Room. My husband has several complicated health issues, including cancer. Dr. Broder was very patient, kind, and thorough in handling my husband’s medical issues. Absolutely one of the best ER docs we’ve seen!

I will start by saying this. I have published editorials praising the Minneapolis VA Hospital. The most recent being in the DAV National Magazine. I said that to say this. I have been going to the Minneapolis VA for over 50 Years. Without a doubt this is the worst Dr. I have ever encountered at the Minneapolis VA. Actually the worst Dr. I have ever interacted with a period. He was self absorbed, pompous and supercilious. I presented with a 101 temperature, Aches and pains throughout my body and a bad unproductive cough. The VA Nurse line Nurse sent me to the Minneapolis ER. This Dr. spent no more than 10 minutes with me. Listened to my chest, but did not do any other exam. Never even looking in my mouth. A few months ago I had pneumonia. The Nurse Line Nurse was concerned about that when she asked me to go to the ER. This Dr. tried to talk me out of a chest x-ray. I had one taken anyway. He sent me home with cough Medicine and tylenol. I was a medic in the Army Medical Corps. My exams… were far more thourogh than the one this ER Doctor gave me.

Received care from Dr. Broder for bronchitis. He perceived to make me feel like I was a liar and provided absolutely no care other than filling a prescription. He couldn’t even write a basic note for school dismissal like he asked me. I have never felt that I was mistreated at a medical facility and I have higher standards from care for receive as a veteran at a VA facility. So us all a favor and remove this troll, we fought for our country and should not be subjected to this crap!

If I was on my deathbed, I would run if I saw this guy.

An unprofessional, lying Dr. who needs to be held accountable for his actions. One of the worst ED Dr.s you will ever meet. There is a reason why he is at thd MVAMC.

Definitely NOT my favorite physician. This guy has absolutely no clue when it comes to working in an ED. He lies and falsifies information in your medical record to try and cover up what really is. There is a reason why he works at the VA and not Mayo.
