Dr. Kevin Lamar Brown, MD

I have been seeing Dr K. Brown for 1 year. Great doctor just stuck in a mess. Let me explain why I state this front the start. I personally have had some rough times with his staff members actually having a good rapport with the doctor as they do with the Nurse Practitioner. The doctor can only shine if the staff shines. When older patients such as myself visit the doctor’s office , we attempt to remember the details of what we are having issues with and Intel relate that information to the first medical staff member we come in contact with in hopes that our details are not compromised. Yet I have found that this information given must be repeated to the doctor if remembered and of course that doesn’t happen as well as it did the first time spoken to the first medical staff member. The front office staff aren’t any better. The last time I visited this office I was rudely addressed by 2 young caucasian women in regards to my insurance and whether or not the office would get paid… and that I need to reschedule my appointment after I have arrived. One of the women even went as far as to state she tried to call me several times before my visit yet, there were no calls recorded on my cell phone from SE Southeast Health Clinic; NOT ONE. Dr Brown has a beautiful bedside manner. He addresses issues presented to him and puts his best foot forward to assure proper care is administered. His smile is contagious and his positive attitude keeps me feeling upbeat even after my visit. I only found one short coming and I don’t think the doctor can correct the staff members there. They will be his greatest downfall. Very good doctor stuck in a mess.
