Dr. Kevin Bubel, MD

Kevin Bubel, M.D., is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist who spent the past six years doing eye surgeries in the suburbs of NYC and Chicago. He is a Dallas native and has remained a devoted Cowboys and Aggies fan while away. He is excited to be returning home and to escape the cold winters! Serving the greater DFW area’s cataract and refractive surgery needs will be the fulfillment of many years of education and training.

Dr. Bubel completed his undergraduate education at Texas A&M and later attended medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern, graduating in 2015. He went on to complete his intern year in Las Vegas, before specializing in Ophthalmology in Long Island, NY where he was a chief resident during his final year. He then joined a general practice in Northwest Indiana for three years, to spend some time near his fiancé’s family, before deciding to return to Dallas.

While in high school, college, and medical school, Dr. Bubel attended global health …trips to Mexico, Central and South America.  Here he found his passion for improving vision both at home and abroad.  Although his Spanish-skills are only mediocre, he is always working to improve.
