I never got to see Dr. Cahill! His office cancelled my office visit. I have had peripheral neuropathy for 7 years and provided Dr. Cahill's office with 7 years worth of tests including 3 EMGs and an 11 month old set of MRIs that were electronic disks. I was told that I had to meet first with Dr. Cahill's PA and have an MRI and then I would see the doctor. I told them that I was looking for a second opinion based upon 7 years of data and then if the doctor felt that an MRI and subsequent surgery would help - I was agreeable. However, I was not agreeable to an MRI that was being prescribed by the front office having not met with the doctor. At that - the front office cancelled my appointment. I requested they mail back to me the CDs from my most recent MRI. They told me - NO - I would have to come to the office to pick them up. I also wrote Dr. Cahill over a month ago and have not heard from him.

Dr. Cahill Was the best neurosurgeon I've seen and I've seen a few. He explained everything in the mri of my lumbar and showed me things in the MRI images so that I knew exactly what was going on with me. Hes definitely an expert in his field. I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs to see a neurosurgeon.

My surgery with Dr. Cahill went well. I went home from the hospital the same day. Happy to be pain free.

He explained everything in the mri of my lumbar and showed me things in the MRI images so that I knew exactly what was going on with me. Hes definitely an expert in his field. I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs to see a neurosurgeon. He answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed. Honestly he is the best doctor I've seen in my 51 years of living. Thank you Dr. Cahill for coming to Brunswick county. We need you in this area.

My post-op visit today was very informative and professional. Dr Cahill makes you feel relaxed and he listens. All the staff are wonderful and caring. They worked very hard to insure that insurance issues were all in place before surgery. I will recommend this practice to my friends.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr Cahill. I would recommend him to anyone for back surgery. Bedside manners were wonderful to me, the nurses and CNA’S. Very sincere and caring when asked how you were doing. What I like most he really believes in back surgery only if you need it. He’s not a knife happy doctor!!!
