Dr. Kevin Michael Cahill, MD

Dr. Cahill was a brilliant and a rare pathologist. He helped countless who were suffering from chronic parasitic diseases that many doctors including terrible gastroenterologists hardly suspect let along diagnose. Cahill did his own signature fresh stool testing (using a sigmoidoscope) in his own lab, without sending it out to external labs, and that was how good he was! He found what others could not. He was well a trained Irish tropical medicine doctor who knew that parasites no longer exist in the "tropics." He even treated President Ronald Regan! Sadly, he recently passed away, and I am sad for many other patients who will never get to see him. They will be the victims of being misdiagnosed for "IBS," "Colitis," or "Crohn's," all convent diagnoses and given horrible drugs that they will have to take for life. My advice: If a doctor told you have "Crohn's," or "Colitis," or "IBS," think twice, because it never is a proper diagnosis. Take it from me. I was told the same thing. I had… E. Histolytica and Strongholds, which are so serious and incredibly hard to find. A good doctor will either find them or will treat them empirically. Self Righteous, Rude, pompous, egotistical.... just to name a few.... Dr. Cahill had no desire to help me. I had my dr send me to another gi dr, unfortunately I haven’t seen them yet thank you Coronavirus.

I've visited and referred friends to Dr. Cahill for 20 years. He is the only person I would go to before travelling to an exotic tropical country. He has more experience than any doctor in this field in the NY area and always gives helpful advice about how to stay healthy when abroad. I have traveled on business and pleasure to Asia, Africa and India and I have never been sick in those countries.

Suffering from intestinal blockage for over thee years. MRI confirmed blockage. Worm in toilet after bowel movement. Worms cause blockage. Gave worm to Mr. Cahill. who would not treat because the sample was no in formaldehyde. (was in alcohol). Also received a $600 lab bill from a stool analysis when he told me he etfawefasfdid his own work. Total waiste of resources. This Dr. has been trying to practice past his capable years.

Dr. Cahill a good doctor, and he is right to suspect that most people have either E. Historlitica (ameba) or Whipworm, two of the most common pathogens that create havoc in people's lives. My advice to anyone who has had been a wrong diagnosis of IBS, Crohn's or IBD by incompetent gastro doctors, go see Cahill. If you do get a diagnosis, make sure you take the correct dose of meds. Cahill tends to prescribe meds on the lower-dose-end, out of care for the person, but you might have to take the right dose according to CDC guidelines. To fellow so-called IBS or Crohn's sufferers, please see him. no such things as IBS. It always a pathogen. And find out why typical stool tests cannot find parasites.
