Being a medical professional I believed this appointment should have been smooth, but once I received the bill I question the level in which he billed. Kevin Carter MD, stated he billed higher because my condition was uncontrolled, my reply if that was the case you should have changed my medication or the way in which I take the medicine he then stated management told him to bill this way , I explained to him I'm a doctor also and deal with fraud he refused to change the charge and kept referring me to a office manager with had no medical knowledge, once upper management got involved they agreed with me in doing a audit and changed the billing. I'm a medical professional just image how many people don't recognize him over billing, he over billed me for $250 now imagine 10 or 20 patients not catching him over billing he is destroying the patient to doctor confidence.
