Dr. Kevin Paul Charpentier, MD

Doctor was 45 minutes late for appointment and provided no reason apology or acknowledgement. Visit was 5 minutes in total and when examined and stated I was in pain the doctor rolled his eyes and said there should be none as if I was lying. Waste of time as there was no diagnosis or suggestions on what may be wrong just sent to receptionist to set up scan to ensure doctor does not need to complete surgery. Totally non compassionate and cold.

Get a second opinion. This Dr. is not as good as he thinks he is.

Waited 3 hours in pre,-op, never talked to me after operation, slope to my wife. Charpentier sent a assistant to speak to me after surgery. Waited over 45 minutes for a post -op exam in waiting, than 15 minutes in exam room. He spent 3 to 5 minutes with me for an exam. Did not even walk me back to his secretary was ahead of me and gone to the patitient when I reached his secretary. There are better in R.I. or near by Mass.

Over 2 hours to see him, with an appointment

Get a second opinion before doing surgery with him. He was very confident and optimistic going into my father's surgery to remove a tumor only to come out and tell us it was no longer operable. He gave my father an 80% chance of getting this tumor out before going into surgery.He washed his hands of us after that. Gave us no hope or direction. He completely let us down. My father died 6 days later due to septic shock after surgery with Dr. Charpentier.

Wonderful experience . Great doctor

I think hes ok but when he puts people on pain meds and then lets they run out there is no more pills and then u get narcotics withdrawls. But he is a good serregion

Excellent Transplant Surgeon in qulity, knowledge and caring. Transplanted Kidney in 2009 & Pancreas 3 weeks ago. He is an angel on Earth. Saved my life, and more importantly, I NOW have an excellent quality of life thanks to him, and God.

I would recommend this doctor- he's very focused and was the first doctor out of too many to accurately diagnose my illness and come up with a plan to treat me in a timely manner!
