About Dr. Chou
Dr. Kevin Chou grew up in Los Angeles where he attended Francisco Bravo Medical Magnet High School. There the school’s aim was to steer youth towards the field of science and medicine. So at this impressionable time he already knew the value of care and service to humanity.
In 1993, Dr. Chou attended the University of California San Diego where he got his Bachelor of Science in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience. Following which, Dr. Chou did research in Intestinal Bowel Disease at the Scripps Research Institute. He helped to coauthor several papers and presentations.
Then in 2001 deciding against graduate school Dr. Chou was accepted and attended the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry. There he dedicated himself to learn the care, art and science of dentistry. Dr. Chou attended an internship between each break. He went to serve the indigent population of places like Lawton, Oklahoma to Redding, California. The invaluable lessons he learned …helped to prepare him. It also gave him a good understand for different people and cultures.
In his own practice Dr. Chou has strive to be sensitive to each person’s individual needs. He has given each patient his utmost quality and has also taken over 200 hours of CE courses each year. Dr. Chou is patient and loves children. His goal is to have a practice in which each person’s quality of life is enhanced and each children’s dental experience is pleasant.
