Dr. Kevin Coupe

Dr. Coupe and his staff are both caring and professional! He has an excellent bedside manner, answering all my And my husband’s questions! He is thorough and candid. Since breaking my arm, at the shoulder, I’ve received excellent follow-up care from his practice and PT from his highly recommended Rocket Sports Medicine, right downstairs! I am so appreciative of him taking my case and offering such great care!

Today I went to see Dr. coo today I went to see Dr.Coupe for a knee I’ve had several Surgeries on that I injured. I was met with immediate dismissal, been told that he would do you surgeries on that I injured. I was met with immediate dismissal, been told that he would do no further imaging to find the root of my pain and swelling. Saying that even if there was a tear or damage to a ligament or tissue he would not fix it due to my having eds I left feeling defeated and having no answers for my pain no plans to fix it .

I had the knee scope done last week. Dr. Coupe mentioned Ill be out 6-8wks. So as I'm attempting to get my short term disability in order. Which is my first time ever performing. I wasn't concerned about the fees, because Dr. Coupe was a skillful doctor. Nevertheless the lady Diane that does the paperwork for "3" other doctors stated to me VERBALLY that " once my paperwork and $25 have been submitted she will get to filling out the proper documentation in order to start my short term disability WHEN SHE GET A CHANCE" This bothered me so deeply because I have NO income coming in and I'm paying you to do YOUR job not to drag your feet or even tell me "that you will get to it when you can"! I was still at a lost for words. As she tried to clean up her horrible statement, it still didn't sit well with me. I'm already suffering physically what she said was unacceptable.

Appointment was at 4:00pm. I waited to see the dr for an hour and a half. It was now 5:30 and Dr. Coupe walks in and tells me that they are so busy. I had a MRI and 2 Drs confirm & set up surgery to fix a torn menicus. Dr. Coupe didn't listen to anything I had to say, was in my room for a total of 4 mins. he said that there was nothing wrong with me. When I walked out of my room it was to an empty office The staff is gone (for the day)...I was the only one there! ARE YOU SERIOUS so busy right?

After visiting 11 different "top" doctors in Houston, I chose Kevin Coupe MD. My leg was 20 degrees crooked due to another surgeon's error. Dr Coupe was able to straighten my leg and fix my knee that had been severely damaged from walking at an improper angle for so long. I am now back to doing all the things I love like dancing, hiking, riding horses,…even walking in high heels. My life would be very different without Dr. Coup and I am forever grateful to him for giving me back my mobility – and lifestyle.

I will not recommend this Dr. very unhappy with his results

Good physician but only saw me 2 times, once before surgery and day of surgery, never saw again or even talked to him. Took 6 weeks to get the surgery, felt like I was not listened to or taken seriously with my complants and had a complete tear of the ACL. Took too long for a diagnosis, kept saying it was just a knee strain, never spoke to me personally after surgery. Disappointed in treatment overall, felt like it was only about the money and getting paid.

dr.coupe has an excellent "bedside" manner, which many doctors dont have. he is professional , caring, and tries to get right to the heart of a problem..he recommends any additional care or treatments that might be needed and he also refers if necessary..5 stars to him and his staff...
