Dr. Kevin Dang, MD

Being a physician in the pain management field allows Dr. Kevin Dang the ability to directly improve patients’ quality of life. Through his work, he is able to provide more functionality to patients while minimizing dependence on medications through the help of interventional procedures. Anesthesiology also affords him the opportunity to make patients comfortable while keeping them safe during the perioperative period. Dr. Dang earned his Doctor of Medicine from Texas A&M University College of Medicine. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from University of Texas at Arlington. After an internship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, he completed an anesthesiology residency and a pain medicine fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.When interacting with patients, Dr. Dang knows each one is different and requires specialized care with an individualized treatment plan. “Being able to see my patients’ positive progression throughout their …treatment plan drives me to continue,” he said. In Dr. Dang’s downtime, he likes to play table tennis, watch movies and go fishing.
