Dr. Kevin Pearce Dibenedetto, MD

Having worked in healthcare many years, I tend to be rather jusdgemental on health care professionals. Dr Benidetto was prompt, knowlegable and made sure to cover all the bases with a somewhat convoluted set of symptoms. Overall, the experience was above average and I fell I was given the best care in the given setting. It must also be noted that this was in a walk-in clinic atmosphere where physicians can usually see/assess their patients longer than in private practice.

If you have a back/neck injury and no insurance do not waste your time. My son was treated as though he was just there for pain meds. The doctor strode into the room, making no eye contact and demanding "so what happened to you". It took 15 minutes to get the doctor to understand that medication was not the goal-it was the need to know how much damage was there to the neck and back-an answer which never came. The advice was give it a few days. Unfortunately, the accident had happened two weeks ago and the injury was getting worse, not better. The doctor was no help at all and very rude.

Ditch your "primary" care doc and see this guy at the Lake AfterHours. If they will let you. He's just good at what he does. It feels good to find people like this.
