Helped my back problem when many others could not. Cannot say enough good about him.

May 4 2018 surgery botched. Procedure not properly done. 3 months later taken to hospital 300 miles from home by ambulance unable to move. Diagnosis is sepsis in surgical area. Additional surgery needed to clear infection and to undo some of botched surgery. Proper surgery not performed and more surgery needed. This is per a neurological surgeon. Anything in the spinal area should be addressed by a neurological surgeon. Knees and hips okay for ortho surgeon. Select another surgeon.

I found Dr. Eck to be straightforward about my surgery needs and the conditions in which he would accept my case. He was blunt but also very informative and appeared to be knowledgeable. I also thought that his manner was a little cold - but I think he wants you to realize the seriousness of your surgery. Once the surgery was over and he visited in the hospital I found a totally wonderful bedside manner and personality. Dr. Eck did a great job for me and my back was in bad shape. I would recommend him to anyone.

Very out of touch with patient spent more time scrating his nose then he did talking with me

very rude very uncaring needs to learn that patients do hurt and I are coming to him for answers and for helpnot all of his patients are there to rip off the Social Security and welfare administration that they have legitimate concerns and problems that need to be looked at and diagnosed properly. he needs to get off his high horse and come down and be with the average man or woman and talk on our level instead of thinking he is way above us. I found him very rude.
