I don’t love going to the dentist and I feel like every time I go I have a positive experience! They don’t do things they don’t need to and talk to you about what’s going on! Great staff and Dr Whitlow and Dr Fox both are personable which also helps!!

My husband went to A dds on Charlotte st. & was happy that his teeth weren't as bad as he had thought. The dds said he just needed a couple of fillings and a couple of crowns. "No root canals were needed". He decided to go ahead and get the crowns before it was a root canal situation. It took over 3 hrs and they said he was going to be sore but not in any real pain. After 2 days of real pain & hardly any sleep he called them back and they kept responding with texts..they could do multiple texts but not answer the phone nor call back. Everything was not ok & he was in pain. He went back to the dds & she said the dental asst. had made a mistake.."she never does that". She said there was an air pocket in it & that is what was causing the pain. After several days, sleepless nights, and a lot of texts to her office he went back for a 3rd time. She said well maybe the crowns didnt work & maybe you needed a root canal. He got the root canals through a referral but was fearful if there was… another mistake he would lose his teeth, money, etc. He found Dr. Fox a couple of years prior & he liked him. Dr. Fox said he would seat the crowns. He called the other dds and told her Kevin would finish it & she said she couldn't give him the crowns. That it was illegal to do & she had to put them in herself. I called Dr. Fox & the NC dds board & found out that was a lie. She finally agreed to send them over. After many months he's doing ok thanks to Dr. Fox. Thank you so very much sir
