Dr. Kevin Michael French, MD

I moved to Nee Bern 4 years ago, and left behind a PCP that I’d had for nearly 10 years. I have a VERY complicated medical history and numerous ailments that he has to manage. To date, I have not met another doctor that I think of as highly as I do Dr French! He always greets me with a “dad joke” and and asks how I’m doing before settling down for what I consider to be a very thorough exam... We talk and I can tell he Really listens! Although his practice is/was full, he took in my kids as they became adults and both my mother- and father-in-law when they moved here. He is our family doctor! I’m so glad to have been able to get into his care!

Dr. French is very knowledgeable. He listens. And he explains options.

This person has poor bedside manner. He was extremely rude, unprofessional, and hostile towards his patient. Absolutely avoid this "doctor" at all costs, especially if you have sensitive medical issues. He is very judgemental and mean and will make you feel uncomfortable.

Dr French was hired to be my grandmother's doctor. His bedside manner was awful. He was very confrontational and bullied her. He was told numerous times how to best handle her (dementia) and he chose to ignore those tips and then would get angry with her when she couldn't remember things. Long story short she won't be going back!

I have recently switched my primary care physician because mine relocated. I am so thankful that I located Dr. French. To begin with, I was greeted by a cheerful and efficient front desk staff. When I had my initial intake with him I was impressed by his easy-going bedside matters, punctuated by his intense listening skills. He took his time and was very thorough. I would recommend him to anyone who is searching for a knowledgeable physician in the area.

Dr. French is very thorough and relates well to his patient's personality style. He found a serious health issue that had gone previously undiagnosed. He cares about his patients and is up to date on current research. He staff is friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend him!

He is very friendly, helpful, understanding, has a great bedside manner, spends a lot more time with his patients than most Dr.s ever would. He don't rush you out and answers every question you have. I will miss him in the Huntsville area! His new town is gaining an excellent Dr.

I would not recommend him. I did recommend him a few years ago. I feel like he and his staff have lost interest in there patients.

I have searched for years to find a Doc that I was comfortable with and felt truely cared for my well being. Dr. French is an excellant doctor and is well worth the wait. He was up front during my consultation visit about long wait times but assured me that translated to him spending more time with me. I am happy to have finally found one of the good doctors in town.
