Dr. Kevin T Gioia, MD

Dr. Gioia and his entire staff were extremely welcoming and personable. The receptionist, Judy, was as the first person I interacted with and she was amazing. So kind and understanding. Then, I met Katie and she was very thorough in her questioning and made me feel very safe and comfortable. Dr. Gioia never made me feel like he was rushing through my appointment and was also very thorough with his exam and questioning. He made me laugh and was also extremely considerate of my lack of help from other doctors in the area. He is definitely all about gold standard care. I'm very glad I found a great team to help me after years and years of searching for the right doctor.

I went to this office because I suffer from IC (Interstitial Cystitis). When I made the appointment I found out Dr. Gioia no longer treats this condition but his Nurse Practitioner, Brooke Hopkins, does. Nurse Hopkins was very pleasant. The problem is that all she can do is write prescriptions. She cannot do all the follow-up treatments for IC such as scopes, installations and surgeries. So basically, seeing her was a waste of time. I wish they had told me that before I came in. I had asked, but they said I had to come in to find out. I guess they wanted to make sure to get my $$ before giving me that info. However, the biggest reason for the low rating is the staff. When I needed a copy of my lab results for my primary care doctor, they made it incredibly difficult. I understood they have to follow procedures, but when I tried to figure out the easiest way for me to get the results they treated me as if I was a nuisance. I was in very significant pain at the time and there was no… compassion at all... just attitude. I ended up driving 90 minutes to get the report and they still weren't nice about it.

I was referred to Dr Gioia by my Gynecologist for special surgery. Dr. Gioia performed the surgery competently leaving virtually no scar tissue. I also suffered minimal post operative pain. I found his office staff competent & his bedside manner friendly & and what I would expect from a professional. I would give his performance five stars.

I am 80 years young and recently had urogynecologic surgery for correction of Pelvic Organ Prolapse by Dr. Gioia. The surgery and recovery were explained to me in depth, my questions were answered and I felt very comfortable going ahead with the procedure. Each patient is different but my recovery has been uneventful and I recommend Dr. Gioia to any woman who has been told or suspects she has correctable problems. The office staff is also professional, attentive, courteous and friendly.

I had to have 3 different surgeries, 1 being with Dr. Gioia and I could not be happier with the outcome of my surgery. Dr. Gioia and his staff are excellent. Very professional. Dr. Gioia took the time to answer all my questions, never made me feel rushed or that I was taking up to much time. I highly recommend Dr. Gioia.

I had surgery for prolapse , surgery went well but having incontinence problem Hopefully a little P/T will solve it. I have total faith in Dr Gioia and i know he will make sure problem is solved. His bedside is Superb, and he is a Sweetheart!

Explains everything well, gives you several options. Excellent bedside manner.
