Dr. Kevin James Heine, MD

Dr Heine is a compassionate and caring physician who was recommended by my primary care doctor. He has performed 3 colonoscopies on me and one for my wife. Takes time to explain and is thorough. I was impressed that he actually reads his notes even though they may have been written several years before. Case in point...he remembered the prep needed to be changed during next procedure and recalled that we were moving out of state and asked about the specific date. I’m going to miss him as a medical professional. Recommend him highly if you are looking for a gastroenterologist. I don’t know why this website wouldn’t allow me to give him five stars.

He may be a good doctor but the problem is whether you can get to see him. It's impossible to get through to his office just to make an appointment. I was on hold for 30 minutes each time I tried to call. There was never any interception giving the option to leave a voice mail. After attempting to call for several days, I gave up. There are several other doctors in his office....same problem with all of them. I don't know how anyone gets an appointment. I gave up.

He cares about this patients; however, does not have the knowledge to help patients with more than a mild case of IBD or Crohn's. The wait time for him at an office visit is rediculously long.
