Dr. Kevin Scott Hill, MD

Dr. Hill is arrogant and impersonal. He makes you feel like you are inconveniencing him. If I had a choice I would never have seen him.

Dr. Hill has been as honest with me as I have with him. This was a priority from day one and as of my first appointment, I expressed this was a priority of mine that I will be as straightforward with him and expect the same back, which he has been. It is true that a good doctor is so very hard to find and searching for one is expensive to say the very least. Dr. Hill does listen to my concerns and replies in kind. A lot depends on the attitude and bias that you bring to the appointment. Over 20+ years of my conditions which some are more important than others, he can find a way to alleviate these conditions. but it maybe not all. he is human as you are. It is true his manner is a bit aloof considering the amount of people with ailments that come through the office and one should expect that from one that treats people of every background that is in some form beyond discomfort. That alone will wear off on anyone as those with family soon find there is no to negative understanding… of what one is going though being that pain is so very hard to express as it is unseen. "You look fine, there can't be anything so bad and as I see you haven't lost a visible limb, I am not willing to accept your problem) in short there is no way for anyone to see and understand pain as it isn't like a quantifiable explanation to be sold on. Who hasn't heard that before or experienced loved ones saying it's just laziness. My 5 or less star ratings have nothing to do with anything within Dr. Hill's control. If possible, I would highly recommend him over many. After 20+ years, I have seen and dealt with many, many doctors and meds, the one thing I've found is many will disregard an informed sufferer. Know your body, listen to it, share with conviction and many find that as disrespect to their profession of choice, he won't unless it is a know fact it comes from junk reports and papers or articles. Keep in mind that you are not the only one he must see as he has a duty to those within the hospital also from accidents to death. Accept that you are not the center of the world and must wait your turn for a limited time to share, so be informed, do your do diligence, and bring that information in a prepared form as not to forget what you need to share, from him in the form of assistance. I have been seeing Dr Hill for about 7 years. I have Fibromyalgia, RA, Acute Migraines among other issues. He listens to what I have to say, we work as a team to get the most out of life. He has helped me control pain and issues thru medication, strength exercise, meditation and healthy living. I have been to many dr's and a lot do not listen to my concerns and just prescribe medications that usually do not even address or ease the issue. When doctors don't listen-they don't care-and I don't stay. Dr Hill truly cares about how you feel, whats working, whats not working. He listens.I would recommend him.
