Dr. Kevin Huddleston, MD

This is going to be a little lengthy, but PLEASE PLEASE read this if you are considering seeing Dr. Huddleston!!!!!! If I could give Dr. Huddleston worse than one star, I would. He is THE WORST doctor I have ever seen! First of all, he talked to me as if I am stupid, not knowing I almost have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. I went to him to find out what was wrong with my body. So, lets put aside that I do know a couple things, I have had this body for almost 28 years, I know when something is wrong. I AM NOT a doctor, which is why I went to him. I needed help! Constant pain, pain that is intolerable at times and affects my daily life is NOT NORMAL. I seen Dr. Huddleston, and before he came in the room I heard his MA (which she was really nice) tell him that I have had two ectopic pregnancies, he laughed and said "ok" and came in the room. He had me sit in the chair and I talked and told him what all is going on. He was cocky, arrogant, and rude. He didn't listen to me. He didn't… read my surgical notes from my two ectopic pregnancies, one was in 2014 the second was in 2015. I can no longer have children due to this, luckily I had a great pregnancy when I was 18, and had a daughter the month after I turned 19, so I do have an 8 year old. I did have emergency surgery with each ectopic as my tubes ruptured because of the ectopic pregnancy. A year apart. Anyway, Dr. Huddleston DIDN'T EVEN DO AN EXAM!! I had asked him about a hysterectomy BECAUSE OF THE PAIN. Not because I just want one, not because I think it sounds like a fun time! I was floored, because he did no exam, asked me basically no questions, and then looks at me and says "no actual doctor is going to recommend a hysterectomy for a 27 year old, perfectly healthy, skinny white girl." I was extremely frustrated, and in tears! AND THEN, he continues to say "I can see your upset so, I can do an exam if you'd like but I don't know what you think I am going to find everything you have said is completely normal." I went to see Dr. Louis in Killeen the very next day (which by the way, if you are looking for a OB/GYN I highly recommend Dr. Louis!) Dr. Louis read through my surgical notes, and knew immediately what is going on with me, and (imagine that) RECOMMENDED A HYSTERECTOMY, after spending almost TWO HOURS asking me questions and talking with me. He told me the issues I am having are NOT normal for a person my age. He ordered an ultrasound and an MRI, my follow-up is on the 22nd of this month to discuss the "game plan". I have abdominal and pelvic adhesions (basically organs bind together due to endometriosis, PID, surgery, infection). My ovaries are completely stuck to my pelvis, and cannot function correctly so my hormones are off too. I have bad pain in my abdomen, back, and legs etc etc etc. He may have known this too, if he had even bothered reading my surgical notes! Longer story short, it is your body and your medical care, do yourself a favor and find a doctor that actually cares and knows what they are talking about, someone that will listen, please don't see Dr. Huddleston. I have even worked with a few doctors that weren't exactly "the nicest" but he has topped every doctor I have worked with OR seen for my own care.

I saw Dr Huddleston end of jul for Iud replacement. The month before I was bleeding for 34 days straight. I had saw Dr Malek who found that my old iud was bent and out of place. I originally thought she said it had perforated my uterus and was anxious to get it removed so I took the soonest appt available which was with Dr. Huddleston. He was nice enough during that visit, didnt really have any complaints. He removed the old iud but I had forgotten that Dr Malek wanted to have a endometrial biopsy done. She said it could b performed during the new iud placement. So jul 29 i saw Dr Huddleston and explained that I wanted the biopsy done. He felt that wasnt necessary. I tried to explain reason I wanted to have the biopsy done but he cut me off saying ok thats fine we can do the biopsy, "who knows u might know more than me", as if i insulted his intelligence. Which wasnt my intent and if he let me finish speakin would of known that. AND THEN there was the procedure the itself, completely… different from the 1st iud insertion. My 1st iud was the Paragard, pain on scale 1-10 was a 3 an it was quick. I felt a cramp every now again thru out that day, but that was it. I measured at a 7, she said I needed to be at least 6 for the Paragard. Dr Huddleston performs the biopsy and measures me at an 8! How!?!? And why was my pain so much worse!! 1-10 it was at a 20. It was as if he jammed the thing in me. His recommendation was the Skyla iud and he inserted it after the biopsy. I was in pain the whole day and now here it is a 2weeks later and I still hurt. Granted not as much as day one, but I'm confused as to why I'm still in pain. The 1st iud procedure went how I expected the 2nd to go, but it didn't. I didnt feel comfortable, I didnt feel like my concerns were really heard. They say SPEAK UP but when you try they tell you to shutup.

Doctor Huddleston is amazing and I will refer everyone I can to him.

Dr. Huddleston is very thoughtful and compassionate. He is honest about information presented; in addition he is professional with a terrific bedside manner. Dr. Huddleston is well-informed and conscientious; I am really pleased that he is my gynecologist.

Dr. Huddleston delivered my baby boy and was always caring and professional. His follow up is SUPERB and has always answered any questions I have had since then. He is simply an excellent doctor!

Great Doctor. Very nice and never made me feel rushed when I had my appointments. He always took the time to really listen and answer any questions I had. I would highly recommend this Doctor.
