Dr. Kevin M Ishioka, MD

As a diagnostic radiologist, Kevin Ishioka, MD, is a critical part of the patients care team. He uses a wide variety of advanced imaging modalities to diagnose disease and help your doctor decide on the best course of treatment. His area of expertise is in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Dr. Ishioka believes that radiology has become a critical part of medicine today and is most effective when high quality, up-to-date technology is paired with skilled personnel. He is a member of numerous professional societies including the Radiological Society of North America, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the American College of Radiology, the California Radiological Society, and the San Diego Radiological Society. He was awarded the John Amberg Award for Clinical Excellence prior to joining Scripps and has been recognized as one of San Diegos Top Doctors by the San Diego County Medical Society and San Diego Magazine in 2011 and 2012.
