Dr. Kevin J Kane, DO

I saw Dr Kane only 1 time during my workman's comp claim. He said he could see my limited mobility, and on the next appointment he might have to release me back to work,. despite the fact my back had not gotten better. I received a call from my case manager, that Dr Kane agreed with the IME and that I was at maximum medical improvement, and said I was fine to go back to work full time. My job required lifting items up to 400lbs. When I called the office, the receptionist was very rude, I told her it was clear what happened, and I needed to know who I need to go after. She firmly warned me to make sure I know what I'm talking about before I make a big problem for myself. The last invoice paid to Dr Kane, was on the same day I was told my claim was closed. It was for undisclosed services. I hadn't been in his office for a couple of weeks and had already had all up-to-date invoices. Cal it what you will, but it seems obvious to me.

My husband had his first appointment with Dr. Kane. We were both in tears because we felt that at long last we had some hope. We found Dr. Kane to be kind and caring. "This is your 'before.' We're going to get you to your 'after.' " He prescribed pain meds and anti- inflammatory meds to get my husband's pain under control. We look forward to getting real help without surgery. Thank you Dr, Kane!

I have been seeing Dr Kane for a few years and he always provides excellent care. He is very knowledgeable and kind and I would definitely recommend him.

Dr Kane has been the only doctor to listen to me and stand up against the worker's comp MCO and help me get a diagnosis over a year after I was injured on the job. I have now had the corrective surgery needed to fix the problem and get on the road to full recovery

Dr is a not only a professional he genuinely cares about his patients. He is concerned not only about helping me over my injury but keeps my mental health in mind as well

I was referred to Dr. Kane after a major car accident, not my fault, for treatment. The car insurance paid for all visits and treatments. (Appx $13, 000 In total for his visits and treatments and tests. ) Upon meeting him he was very charming, wonderful bedside manner, looked me in the eye when I spoke and truly listened. I loved him (as a dr) He immediately began me on opiates as well as making appts for other treatments. Ordered an MRI. My pain was mostly on the left side but the mri results showed my lower back was sprained and had inflammation. I was in a lot of pain. Could not bear weight and limped painfully when I walked. He was a godsend...at the time. The opiates didnt work so well so he prescribed stronger and stronger ones. I at times took more than prescribed and eventually he was refilling 144 15-30mg oxys every 2-3 weeks. I found a pharmacy that would fill them. Even gave me ms contin and that did nothing so he prescribed oxycontin 3 times a day...on top of the oxycodone.… I am at fault for taking more....not his fault but he did fill them early. I didnt even have to see him. I called and requested and within hours id receive a call that it was ready for pick up. Im torn because he was a caring, charming dr who listened to you (hard to find these days) but at the same time, 7 months later I was at a methadone clinic trying to rid myself of all these pills. This was all in 2009-2010. I recently requested my records, was charged for them after I was told I would not be because...he only had my first two visits of records with INACCURATE info on the amount of percocet he prescribed. Saying he gave me 10. A lie! I never got that small of a script. The all records 'lost' until the records stating id entered methadone treatment and that id been dishonest about how much I was taking. Now...how 7 months of records of early fills filled by him, were lost I dont know. Byt the methadone clinic was sure interested in who he was and I gladly handed over the info. Likely why my records were lost in some 'flood' But not the first two records, which were obviously altered, and the last three regarding methadone treatment and him being unaware of my use. Unaware? He filled them. Happily. A drug users dream dr. But I was after pain releif. I have had two other major accidents since and 3 surgeries and have chronic knee, hip and back pain. Also quit methadone against medical advice because all they seemed concerned with was getting paid, keeping you addicted to opiates and herding you like cattle through their line every morning. 6 yrs later, I still struggle with addiction to opiates. My tolerance never coming down and struggling with each surgery. Am about to start a different treatment tomorrow with high hopes. So my review is mixed. He was wonderfully likeable and agreeable, willing to prescribe any pain med available but was that a good thing? Not for me. I think back on my visits with a (I'll say it again) wonderfully charming handsome dr who genuinely seemed to want to help. But then again, I struggle with opiate dependence that started with him. So just beware. Be careful. Its my fault for requesting early refills, it is on him though for providing them. And as for losibg my records? All I can say is he was covering his butt.. Of course he wouldnt want those records getting out. That is not ok. And illegal I think. But it was an apparent flood. But the records I did receive, which were 7 months apart, showed NO signs of water or any other damage. He discarded those records to protect himself. Very shady. But lots of folks love him...probably because he hands out opiates like skittles in a country where most drs are afraid to give you vicodin or tylenol 3's for fear of addiction. Just be cautious.

From the first office visit at Integrated Rehabilitation, Dr. Kane and his staff have been amazing. My on the job injury took place in early 2013, by fall of that same year I was in debilitating pain and in need of surgery. The insurance company denied the surgeon's request to perform the necessary surgery and closed my claim. At this point I had to retain an attorney and had been under the care of a physician who showed more concern about whether the office visits were being paid for then he did for my condition and pain. So at my attorney's recommendation I called up Integrated Rehabilitation and asked to schedule an appointment. I'm so glad I did! My husband and I both felt validated, heard and for the first time in a while, hopeful. Dr. Kane won my heart with his kindness and genuine concern for my well being, and he won my trust with his very extensive knowledge of both my condition and needed treatments as well as the ins and outs of Worker's Comp, court proceedings,… appeals and such. Dr. Kane has chosen his staff very well as they all follow his example in kindness, care and competency in their respected roles. Whether I'm scheduling an appointment with Angela or Sara, seeing Shawn or Liz for physical therapy, working with Maria in billing to provide insurance company with necessary documentation or seeing Brandi and Dr. Kane himself, I am given excellent care. I'm so grateful :)

I am a new patient with Dr. Kane. My first visit could not have been more pleasant. His staff was kind and courteous, there was nearly zero wait time, and the Doctor demonstrated a compassion and kindness that can be difficult to find these days. I also received a follow up call the very next day (Monday after Friday visit) to assure I was doing well. Very satisfied at this juncture.

He was more interested in looking good than helping me. Why I say that? He had a student in with him at one of my appointments and was acting very professional and on another appointment before that he was on his cell phone with a personal phone call and ignoring me.

Seemed really nice at first. Good bedside manner. Super-brief manipulations, no consultation. People's medical records laying on the floor. Feels like he's more of a pimp than a doctor.
