My 88 year old mother had excruciating back pain from a fragmented disk. Dr. Kelly performed a lengthy but minimally invasive surgery where there were no complications and provided immediate relief.

I’d give him a zero if I could. He was the most condescending, rude loser I’ve ever met. Especially in the medical profession. I don’t think I’ve ever had a doctor be so narcissistic. He rolled his eyes at me constantly, didn’t want to answer my questions, told me I didn’t hurt where I said I hurt and only wanted to talk about himself. He literally talked for 10+ minutes without any eye contact or interaction. He also didn’t acknowledge my daughter one time who came with me. If you want a doc who cares, do NOT go to this jerk.

Please find another Doctor if you value your health. This idiot should not be a Doctor he displays horrible bedside manner, does not prepare himself with the patient medical chart, and questions your pain level as if someone is pretending to be in pain. Copley is a professional hospital filled with many talented nice professional health care works, and Mr . Kevin Kelly should not be one of them.

Dr Kelly spent more time with me in his office than my last five surgeons totaled times 5. He is awesome!

I have had seven spine surgeries over the past 15 years. 4 cervical and 3 lumbar. Dr Kelly has performed my past two, and we are preparing for the 5th cervical this week. Needless to say I have allowed quite a few surgeons to cut into me. The past two were the most invasive. With both of them, I had the shortest hospital stay, least amount of pain which was treated with minimal medication. I was able to wean off the medication in two weeks with no pain. I have no fear and complete trust in this surgeon. I will be moving out of state later this year. I will travel back if I need a future surgery. My biggest fear is he will retire before I pass.

Dr. Kelly came highly recommended. I lived in pain every day having to take pain pills to make it thru the day. Then we met with Dr. Kelly he recommended surgery with the hopes that it would lessen the pain. It did and for the first time in years I am pain free and, I owe it all to Dr. Kelly. He was very kind and, caring. He listened to what I had to say and, explained things in a way that I understood. Both he and his Physician Assistant Amber were by far the best. From the office visits , to the visits in the hospital, to the miracle they did in the operating room. If anyone has been thinking of surgery or living with back pain you don't have to any more. Go see Dr. Kelly now.

I was referred to Dr. Kelly by my GP for lower back pain and leg weakness after a snow shoveling incident. Dr. Kelly answered all my questions and commended my conservative approach to trying everything first (lumbar shot, oral steroids, diet change, PT) before undergoing surgery. Once I exhausted non-invasive approaches, I got a second opinion, then ended up back at Dr. Kelly's for another 30 minute pre-op appointment to finalize our approach. The combo of Dr. Kelly with PA Amber make a great care team to relieve your pain and start living your life again.

Dr. Kelly and his staff did an excellent job in explaining my options for treatment, explaining my condition and the various risks and outcomes. I elected for the surgery he recommended and am glad I did. My claudication and numbness has completely disappeared 4 weeks after surgery. I found Dr. Kelly to be professional, courteous and extremely completent. I am most glad that my Dr., Dr. Kevin Egly recommended him to me.

Great Doctor did my spinal fusion surgery 5 years ago and haven't had any issues since.

Dr. Kelly was very thorough explaining my condition per the MRI and what surgical options were available to me. He patiently answered all my questions in an easy to understand manner. I felt he was young enough to know the newest innovative techniques and options yet had enough years of practice to make me comfortable with his surgical experience. I am very pleased with the results of the surgery Dr. Kelly performed. I am pain free and the recovery time was relatively short in my opinion.
