Dr. Kevin M Kenny, DDS

Dr. Kevin Kenny was raised in the suburbs of New York City on Long Island before heading to Virginia for his undergraduate degree at James Madison University and dental school at Virginia Common Wealth University in Richmond. Then it was off to San Diego to begin his dental career as an officer in the United States Navy. After extensive clinical training and world travel, Dr. Kenny founded Bay Park Dental Group in 1988. Dr. Kenny kept up his strong association with the Navy as a reserve officer, going back or active duty for the first Gulf War, traveling yearly to various ships and duty stations throughout the world, teaching at the Naval hospital and eventually retiring with the rank of Captain. Dr. Kenny has always been a strong believer in continuing education. After completing over five hundred hours of continuing education classes and completing a three-day examination, Dr. Kenny received the prestigious fellowship award from the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Kenny was asked …to join the staff of UCSD as an Associate Clinical Professor in the department of family medicine in 2007. His responsibilities include teaching future dentists and providing care to the needy at the UCSD Student-Run Free Dental Clinic in Pacific Beach, CA. Dr. Kenny enjoys providing comprehensive treatment for the entire family focusing on crowns, implants, and cosmetic smile makeovers. He enjoys his free time with his wife Jackie, golfing, traveling, and going to the beach with their two dogs: Frankie and Sammy.
