Dr. Kevin John Klassen, MD

Went in for a checkup and to establish myself as a patient. Dr. Klassen was great, listen to my concerns and had a great sense of humor. Really enjoyed my visit and feel like I'm in good hands.

Very thorough and helpful

I recently landed in the hospital with severe chest pain. Dr. Klassen was called in to evaluate my condition. Once Dr. Klassen was advised that I had multiple allergies to medications, he determined that I needed to have a Lexiscan to determine if I had a heart blockage. Since I am profusely allergic to Theophylline, the reversal medication that is utilized should it become necessary to abort a Lexican, he made sure to carefully cover all bases to insure my safety. Dr. Klassen went above and beyond the call of duty to call the pharmacist, obtain a vial of Epinephrine to be utilized, instead of Aminophylline, to abort the scan if necessary. He even double checked with the pharmacist and had the pharmacist calculate the proper dosage of Epinephrine to administer to me should it become necessary. When the Epinephrine arrived, Dr. Klassen took extra precautions and filled a syringe with the Epinephrine. Before the Lexiscan started, Dr. Klassen took another precaution and lifted the… sheet to expose my thigh should he need to administer the Epinephrine quickly. Due to a patient and caring physician, the Lexiscan was completed without any problem. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Dr. Klassen for dotting all of the I's and crossing all of the T's to insure my safety. Thank you for your dedication! You are one in a million.

dr. Klassen is awesome doctor. He always answers all of my questions completely. He is very personable, never makes me feel rushed. he is very interested in his patients and I would recommend him to anyone. I do agree that the staff is not always up to par but you can't go wrong with this doctor

I really love Dr. Rizik who performed my heart surgery but the follow up was done by Kevin Klassen, who proved himself to be the biggest, most obnoxious man I have ever met. Turned me off to the entire practice. Big thumbs down.

Extremely full of himself and not very interested in his patients.

I had to call twice and speak with his nurse over the course of 6.5 hours and still she didn't talk to the doctor. I ended up in the ER with atrial fibrillation and a heart rate of >140. He is excellent, but she was a danger to my life and I have never gone back to see him after that experience.

I saw Dr. Klassen Feb. 26th in Dr. Hummel's office in Ft. Hills.He has a wonderful personality and gave me all the time I needed andanswered all of my questions. He also has a great sense of humor.He even took the time to talk about my husband's condition.I felt very comfortable with him and trust his opinions.
