Dr Masur was very informative at explaining my surgery procedure. He also has a great team with him. Everything about my experience was very informative the surgery was a great success. Also Dr Masur makes you feel comfortable, great Humor, very informative

Dr Masur put my husband at ease throughout the preop and postop aspects of his procedure. He was extremely informative, showed us in detail what he would be doing in surgery..my husband had three procedures done in one surgery... a lot of surgery! We would highly recommend Dr Masur and his team for his surgical skills and great communication. Thank you Dr Masur and staff!!!!!!!

I went in for my initial appointment just to find out they did not know if my insurance would cover the procedure partially or in full. I already paid the $65 co-pay just to meet Dr. Kevin J. Masur and rescheduled the appointment for a later date once we knew what my insurance would pick up. I asked Dr. Masur directly if I would need to pay the $65 co-pay again on the next appointment, which he assured me I would NOT since nothing happened on this initial appointment. During the actual procedure on the next appointment, Dr. Masur took a personal phone call in the middle of the procedure. Not exactly hygienic or professional considering I had an open incision. However, he did good work. But biggest issue I have is I was later billed a second time for the co-pay. I understand perhaps I was mistakenly billed but when I tried to call and clear this up I got no where. It fell on deaf ears. In fact they just told me to call the insurance company, (which has nothing to do with this-they… bill according to the coding). I appealed this and they sided with me, however I'm getting collection notices still. I called the collection department and spoke with Lisa who was extremely rude, she talked over me with an attitude and even hung up on me. I understand she has a job to do but I approached this calm and with respect. I'm simply trying to do my due diligence. Not sure what kind of practice they're running but I wouldn't trust them.

Found Dr Masur and Advanced Surgical Associates after a poor experience with another surgeon (insurance and scheduling). The office was on top of everything, and Dr Masur was top notch. He answered questions, explained everything, and performed a perfect surgery. Couldn't have asked for anything better.

His diagnosis and treatment were right on the money. He explained everything both before and after the surgery. I would highly recommend him

I was having abdominal pain which turned out to be a hernia at my belly button, Dr Masur was professional and explained everything to me and I felt very confident in him as my surgeon. I am doing great after surgery! Dr Masur and his staff are wonderful!!

I was referred to Dr. Masur as my surgeon. he and his staff were absolutely wonderful and very informative and very, very,very easy and made me feel extremely comfortable. I would definitely go back to Dr. Masur again if needed.

Originally seen for Gallbladder surgery, Dr. Masur found that hernia's were causing the pain and it was not necessary to remove the gallbladder. Dr. Masur is a wonderful surgeon who goes out of his way to make sure the patient and family are fully informed and comfortable with the procedures. At the first office meeting we were impressed to see an appointment board at the check in which told if a doctor was on time or running late and how late. Following the hernia surgery on my husband, Dr. Masur came to the cafeteria to find me and inform me that all had gone well. Everyone involved in this surgery was very helpful, friendly, and genuinely concerned with our peace of mind. We would definitely recommend and/or use this surgeon and his great staff again.

Words can't express how grateful and blessed I feel to have come across Dr. Masur. I'd been struggling with upper abdominal pain for many years and was referred to him by my GI for gallbladder removal surgery. From the moment I met him, the way he attentively listened to and addressed all of my concerns made me feel acknowledged and important.
