my son broke his foot his junior year of highschool playing basketball,,,are local oryhopedic surgeon said it should heal on its own,,,,so we went that rout on his advice,,, then 10 months later and a week before his senior season of basketball was to start my sons foot broke in same spot,,,,learning as we go it was called a Jones fracture,,we were all devastated of the second break,,,,so we took my son to Dr. Morris ,,,him being a sports fan,,he said he would try to get Gavin back on court for some of senior season,,,,,Dr.Morris put a screw in his foot and got Gavin back for half his senior year,,,,,Advice from me,,if anyone has the Jones fracture put a screw in it,, I have watched my son play at full force with the screw in his foot,,,,,, Then came act 2,,,,my older son torn his achilles tendon playing basketball,,so knowing how well Gavin healed after seeing Dr.Morris we took him there,,Dr.Morris performed the surgery on the full blown Achilles tear,,,my son has not looked… back from that surgery and is still playing basketball to this day at full speed,,,,,,Dr. Morris did a remarkable job in both cases and is highly recommended by my family,,,The O'Keefe;s

Kevin Morris is the absolute best anesthesiologist at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. I know I will be safe in any surgery that he is doing the anesthesia. He is extremely competent and knowledgeable. He also came to visit me several times in my room post op. I never had any other anesthesiologist do that. I wouldnt have a surgery without him present. He is that good.
