I drove 3 hours to get there, waited another hour after my apointment time, and then was promptly belittled and argued with while telling my symptoms for EDS. Because my thimbs weren't bedy enough and my skin was not as soft as it used to be due to sebhoric keratosis and exzema, he was not interested in the conversation. All that was in the notes in th epatient portal was TMJ and mention of the pituatary tumor, nothing about our conversations, my concerns, or his lack of any caring, compassionate, and professional concern. Anyone with a rare condition knows that this is a normal way of being treated by 'specialists', being told it is in my head, or just being dismissed. I urge you to do more research before going to this doctor and Vanderbilt if you have a rare condition. I have a full smorgasboard of documented medical problems and no doctor that seems to want to treat them. My insurance is amazing, so that is not the problem, the medical system is!

I totally think he is the best! He got me on right meds. Talked to me about my concerns. Got me back on my feet and walki h in two weeks. He is the only one i choose to see.

We drove 2 hours to get to see Dr Myers . My Dr sent me to see him . He practically laughed at me . He said you have Artitis but there is nothing I can do about it! He ask if I have insurance and yes I do . He agreed to do a little blood work but that was all . He talked down to me never realized I am a nurse myself and realized how he was treating me was wrong ! I was charged a outrageous price which I paid and now two years later they are billing my insurance once again . I did not receive any help after waiting months to see this MD . I would not go there again or recommend anyone go there . His bedside manner is something that needs work something he apparently has not developed in all the so called years of his experience! I will never even consider taking a dog to him much less a human being !

After driving 4 hours to a university hospital upon referral from my physician, I was asked why I even came. My current physician was called an idiot for choosing to refer me. I was talked down to for the entire appointment, and treated like I was lying about symptoms. I left this office with no answers and will not be returning. I do not recommend this Doctor to anyone, especially one looking for answers.

I was sent here by another specialist because I need to take a biologic. Dr. Myers literally laughed at me and called me an idiot because I didn't want to take addictive pain pills instead. He refused to help me because he didn't understand my rare condition and was unwilling to learn.

He was the rudest doctor I have ever been to. I went to him once & left his office in tears. I have never been to anyone like him, needs to be in another profession!!
