Dr. Kevin Jeffrey Pelton, MD

i was sent to him because i had severe back pain. i had x rays and reports to show and say how bad my back was. but because i was so young, he thought i was either lying or just didnt care. i was in such pain i was crying and he had the nerve to poke all over my back forcefully all while saying 'you are to young for this, you cant be in that much pain and you cant really have that much damage.' i kept telling him to stop but he kept poking my back everywhere. i kept telling him to stop but he woudnt. i had to yell and wiggle from him in or der for him to stop. he even gave me his friend the lawyers card to sue my work. that was the last day i saw him. i went to another doctor and he expained to me what my reports pelton had. now i was 39 when this happened, i am now 41. my new doctor explained to me the reports pelton had. sever DDD, was bone on bone (no cartlidge) in may places of my back. i didnt just have 1 bulging disc or herniated disc, no, i had severa in cervical, thoracic… and lumbar. i have such damage they aged my back of a 60-70 year old and again i was only 39. i am now 41 and have gotten such great care from my new doc. i have had a fusion of my c3,c4, c5,6,7, a fusion of my L4,5 and S1, i have maxed out of my shots for my thoracic that my only 2 options were to live with the extreme pain or try a neuro stimulator put on my spine. the surgeries did help and so does my neuro stimulator. my quality of life is better not because of you but because of my doc i found after you. he cares and pays attention and listens, and doest call the patient a lyer. you pelton did nothing except make me feel in more pain, A LOT MORE PAIN. i would not recommend this doc to anyone, especialluy if they are young and have a really really bad back with reports and xrays he wil not beleive you and in some way call you a lier.

I have been treated excellent by Dr.Kevin Pelton and his staff.Not only was pre surgery appointments smooth and very detailed information on the surgical procedure,but the surgery & post surgery transition & appointments have gone exactly as I was informed from the first orientation appointment.The convenience due to his multiple office location has made the experience so much easier to handle with the recovery process.I'm still in the healing post surgery transition,but all is going well.Dr.Pelton & his staff continue to treat me as a VIP, when I'm just you average person!! Thanks again to all,I anticipate to be back to fully normal soon

Yes.. a doctor who care's with regards to each patient and their individual needs. Dr. Pelton has that sense of charm with humor that adds a comfort to each visit that rounds off to wellness.

Nice people, sometimes incoming calls inefficient

I have been to Dr. Pelton's office a few times now. Dr. Pelton was very professional and his diagnosis was right on. I have followed up with his PA Felipe Nunez and have found him to be just as knowledgeable. Both have made my visits there very comfortable. I can understand why his office is so busy and the wait isn't really any longer than you would find at any other specialists office. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Pelton rarely comes in the room to discuss ANYTHING with the patient it is always his PA Felipe Nunez, not quite the way i pictured a Physician of his caliber to run his office. I definitely would NOT recommend anyone to visit this office. Aside from Dr.Pelton being elusive the front desk double books patients & they are forever running behind. Bring a lunch comfortable clothing & a good book you will be here for a LONG while. Good Luck

Dr pelton is excellent my mom had hip sx and we were nerves but Dr pelton but myself n family atise told us everything will be ok n she Was in good hands. He made us feel better he is so caring and understands in how u feel I would defiantly recommend him he is wonderful .

he don't care about patent specially with hmo and medical .

I have only seen Dr. Pelton once. I have to go and visit him again after I get my MRIs. But his diagnosis seemed quite accurate based on the xrays that I did at his office. Other doctors that I had seen previously many years ago regarding the same issue didn't point to the same problem that he found which is probably correct based on personal observations. He was very professional and asked relevant questions however he didn't spend much time examining my body. His conclusion was he needed to see the MRIs before he could make an accurate diagnosis and I am sure that is the right thing to do.

Dr. Pelton is a highly caring, dedicated, and talented professional. We trust him completely to treat all of the orthopedic needs of our family from total hip replacement to broken bones. I highly recommend Dr. Pelton for all your orthopedic needs.
