Dr. Kevin Elihue Potts, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Potts for over five years. His staff is both personable as well as professional Dr. Potts listens and takes his time responding in language I can understand. He has helped me breath easier and get a restful sleep. My wife appreciates that I no longer snore and now she too can sleep.

Dr. Potts communication and concern for his patients is below 0% acceptable. My mother was diagnosed with cancer as a result of tests ordered by Dr. Potts and he did not have the concern to tell her directly or recommend next steps to her and my father. Unfortunately who cancer was too advanced and she passed away shortly thereafter. However, 6 weeks after the diagnosis and 3 weeks after her death my father receives correspondence that my mother has cancer and that they should call to set appointment for next steps. This is in addition to while she did have visits with the Dr. he seemed to try and minimize her concerns over her excessive cough and make her feel like it was normal, guess what doc it was not normal. I don't believe that is acceptable communication. If you have an opportunity choose someone else please do so this doctor does not seem to have the time or the compassion for your loved one.

He is always on time and is so polite! He is an overall great doctor!

Dr. Potts is marginal at best. While caring for my father, Dr. Potts was indifferent and unreachable while my father was being treated in his hospital. This doctors manner with family and patients is obscenly bad. He is more arrogant than other doctors I have delt with, and he had no interest in relaying important information to the family. He may know his specialized area, but needs to be a human being when treating a patient and dealing with a family of a terminally ill elderly patient.
