Terrible bed side manners

Dr. Redmond has always been a gentle and kind doctor who I trusted and thought was on my side with my fight against cancer and ensuing remission. But during my last exam the vaginal speculum was causing me some pain and I told him that it hurt. And that is when everything changed. I could tell that he had become angry and he snapped out that I should be used to it by now. The remaining examination became a nightmare of him purposely being rough, jamming me with his fingers and causing pain in my rectum, cervix and vagina. The pain was terrible and in shock I looked at the attending nurse who was standing at my shoulder. She said nothing—could not see what he was doing to me. I am a 71-year old woman who hasn’t had vaginal bleeding in years. I bled a great deal and my pain lasted 4 days.
