Dr. Kevin Neil Sheppard, MD

Dr. Sheppard has became my best friend over the years. I enjoy seeing him each time that I visit. Now that he has a scribe I enjoy it even more because I get to spend more time with him rather than the computer.

I've read other reviews commenting that Dr. Sheppard compares his patients' situations to his own, in an unflattering way...this has never been my experience. Another reviewer commented that Dr. Sheppard was dismissive of his/her issues due to 'age'. I would like to comment on that...Dr. Sheppard was very direct with me with the fact that many of my minor health complaints were due to my weight. I might have taken offense to this, but he is a doctor; he knows this to be true, as did I. He wasn't 'taking cheap shots', he was being honest, and I appreciated a doctor who doesn't blow smoke and tells it like it is. That's what any of us pays a doctor for. Dr. Sheppard then followed up by debunking some common diet/exercise myths, and wished me well. I have since lost almost 30 lbs (when I was ready, and on my own schedule) and like he said would happen, my physical complaints have all but vanished. Where would I be if I were a weaker-minded individual, being told pleasant… half-truths by a doctor trying to be PC and all nicey-nice? I appreciate the truth, even if I don't like it so much, and I expect and require it from my physicians. I highly recommend Dr. Sheppard if you're interested in the true state of your health and real solutions.

after 2 years i had to switch drs.he is not a caring dr.can be rude,and copares you to himself and others.not profesional.

This Dr. gives a general diagnosis of "Your old." He does not care for his patients at all. The office personel are ignorant

dr sheppard has been my dr, for about 10 yrs, could't ask for anyone better, he is always there to answer my questions and never puts me off. i have recommed him to the rest of my family, and they also see him. real good guy,
