Kevin Simon, MD, MPH

Dr. Kevin M. Simon, MD, MPH, is a child and adolescent psychiatrist and addiction medicine specialist at Boston Children’s Hospital, where he serves in the Division of Addiction Medicine and directs the JUSTICE (Juvenile Understanding and Support Through Intervention, Community, and Empowerment) Clinic. An assistant professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Simon is triple board certified in adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, and addiction medicine. He specializes in caring for youth and young adults with substance use disorders, trauma-related conditions, mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, and complex behavioral health needs, particularly those involved in public systems such as juvenile justice and child welfare. In addition to his clinical and academic leadership, he serves as the inaugural Chief Behavioral Health Officer for the City of Boston, where he leads citywide behavioral health initiatives focused on equity, prevention, and access to care.
