Dr. Kevin Todd Smith, MD

After reading some of the reviews I felt I had to chime in. I have been a patient of Dr Smith’s for probably close to 8 years now. I was referred by my neurosurgeon for continued pain management. Over the years I have had a great relationship with Dr Smith and his office. This practice has grown exponentially and as such a new patient may have a wait time for getting an appointment. They have recently opened a second location (Parker, CO over by Skyridge Hospital) closer to me and I am able to make appointments that are more convenient for me. I have had numerous procedures for my treatment of chronic pain with varied results. That is not to say anything negative about Dr Smith, it is just my nerves and my body that are the issues. I have also had Dr Smith as my anesthesiologists for surgeries all with excellent treatment. I highly recommend Dr Kevin Smith. He is a very competent and caring doctor. He takes the time to listen to any issue that may have come up since my last… appointment. His staff is great and easy to talk to.

Cares about pain. Understands how to treat pain. Easy to talk with. Always takes care of my needs.

I thought he was rough, incosiderate of my pain. I feel he knows his business but had no bedside manner and no caring. Give an injection and be done with it. He is very arrogant and NO, I would not recommend him.

Dr. Smith is a great Dr. and I liked his PA Mindy too. He was so helpful and knowledgable that I requested him as my anesthesiologist for two of my surgeries. However, I have never been treated more rudely by a very incompetent staff (receptionist and nurse, Meg). Dealing with them for anything was worse than the pain. I put up with it for 6+ months because I like Dr. Smith but recently had to change because I don't need the addition stress in my life and it was always stressful to deal with this office staff. I was accompanied on my is it's my various friends and family who all commented and were shocked at the way we were treated.

I have had 5 major joint surgeries. Of which included a severe delayed staph infection. Dr. SMITH was there throughout the very extensive recovery process. He got me through this extremely painful ordeal..and he continues to be there. I recently had an MRI which diagnosed severe osteoarthritis in my lower back . Dr.SMITH recommended steroid injections which he administered ... he was spot on as the pain has went from an 8 at night to maybe a 2 ... thank you Dr. SMITH...YOU ARE AWESOME!!!

Doctor did not see me more than twice and claimed that my perscription was not taken as directed when that is how the nurse wrote and directed me to take perscription! WORST and most UNFRIENDLY staff that I have ever met in my life! Nurse likes to say very personal comments and is unable to write a perscription correct to save her life!
