Kevin-Steven Buford, MD saw my brother yesterday in the Ochner's ER and refused to treat his severe blood pressure 170/100, 160/98. My brother has hypertension and is on 25 mg of losartan. This doctor sent him home. My brother returned to the ER today for severe blood pressures at home and his blood pressure was 164/118 in the ER. Is this appropriate medical care?
