I stress fractured a bone in my foot. Dr Sunshein said it wasn't stress fractured after the initial x-ray he took and again about 3 1/2 weeks later. I continued in pain with no help from him because he couldn't read an x-ray. I initially him for painful feet. He recommended orthotics and Lacer therapy. Very $$$$. The orthotics were causing my feet to go numb. I told him I felt this was the case. He insisted that his orthotics were not the reason for my numbness. In pain and very upset. I decided to find another doctor. So, I decided to go to Cleveland Clinic Ortho Department and saw a doctor there. He was wonderful. He took x-ray's and indeed the there was a healing stress fracture where Dr Sunshein said there wasn't. Also, that the numbness was because of the orthotics and it was recommended I get rid of them. He also recommended a certain type of shoe. I took his advice and got the shoes and after wearing them the numbness in my feet has gradually gone away. My feet… fell better now than they have in a long time. So glad I went to Cleveland Clinic
