My family doctor is on vacation so I thought I'd try teledoc. My husband and I had the same sinus infection symptoms. We are very familiar with this. He called teledoc in the morning and got a prescription for his usual antibiotics. I had to work so I called teledoc in the evening and got Dr Tao. He insisted I should not be prescribed antibiotics even though I have a fever and green mucus, pain in the face and persistant coughing. When I went over my symptoms he just said "yeah, if you still have that in a few days call again" It seems he wants another doctor to prescribe medicine and he just wanted to take calls and get his paycheck. I will never roll the dice with teledoc again.

I explained by symptoms to the Dr, which were classic sinus infection symptoms (something I have had dozens of times throughout my life) and he refused to give me antibiotics because of Teladoc policy. Then when he sends me information sheet on Sinusitis, it says antibiotics are beneficial for patients with my exact symptoms. He did not care I was suffering, did not listen, made up his mind in the first 60 seconds about what I had. Horrible experience, avoid this doctor.
