Dr. Kevin Matthew Timmel, MD

After 4 1/2 months of not being able to get treated for low oxygen despite being on oxygen I decided with the suggestion of pulmonology department to be seen in the ED to try and figure out what was happening. I was seen at the Nampa St Lukes ED. Within seconds of him walking into the room he yawns and looks at me and says "what do you want me to do for you?" I was taken back by the question. Told him what had been going on and he just treated me like he was annoyed that I was there. He went on to tell me that if I was dying he could save me, but he didn't have the experience to help me with what I needed. He told me that it was more than likely neuromuscular which I suspected and told me to try being seen outside of the state. The next day when I call he tells the nurse to tell me that he won't give me a referral for out of state...even though he was the one that made the recommendation. Every other person I encountered in that ED was exceptional!

Torchering babies without reasonable cause. (Medical testing that is painful for unethical reasons).

. I brought my 3 month old baby to St. Luke’s in Meridian because he had been screaming, low-grade fever, and red swollen eyes. Thinking that it was an infection. Dr. Kevin Timmel came in the room and I explained what was going on, the minute he heard my baby doesn’t have vaccines. He had it out for me, A whole panel of bloodwork, Iv in the head, chest x-ray, spinal tap, ultrasound of the head for bleeding on the brain, placed a catheter and then back for 23 more x-rays of every major bone in my baby’s body. Every time he came in to speak with me, he brought a scribe and another nurse and kept saying that he has a fever because you did not vaccinate him, he probably has a kidney infection because he’s not circumcised and then as he’s doing the spinal tap he says this is a lot more risky procedure because you didn’t vaccinate your baby. I’m in shock.

This dr lied on my ER records, told me false information on my tests, had no knowledge of the disease I had when I came into the ER, very arrogant, denied pain medication and bullied me into making quick decisions by with holding medication. He really deserved no stars...but he is a walking liabilotyat meridian st. Lukes!

Dr Timmel is truly rude. Didnt care one bit about my pain. Went there in pain and left in misery. Skills and actions were very unprofessional. No patient relatability. He shouldnt be helping people.

Dr. Timmel appeared to be disinterested in my patient care...was vague upon questioning...When I left the ER, I questioned in my mind, wheather or not Timmel had a license to practice medicine. Would not recommend him to anyone.
