Dr. Kevin Allen Wurst, MD

This so-called doctor is completely incompetent! If he is assigned to you or a family member, Demand another doctor!! I had nearly a dozen nurses that knew I was having a major shock episode or even possibly a seizure. This doctor told me and my elderly parents that I was making it up! Yes, this man is an idiot! I have a documented disease that involves shock. Morons like this are why many hate Floyd Baptist hospital.

This doctor was rode to my family member and ride to me. Glad I got out alive.

If I could give him zero stars, I would. He’s grossly incompetent and clearly a scam artist. If you’re assigned to him in the ER, I recommend, no I URGE you to leave before signing any treatment papers.

This guy don't even deserve to have a Dr. title. He is by far the worst Dr. ever! He don't even listen to your symptoms. After he dismissed my son with nothing wrong with him, we asked if he would please do a stool specimen to check for parasites and he wrote an order up, after taking a sample in and waiting 3 days for the results with no calls or anything, I called to get the results and they said that this so called doctor cancelled the test. What a piece of work you are! I hope that you lose your license and never get to practice again anywhere. You are not worthy to even be a CNA! You had to have cheated on your test to have got a degree. You are worthless!!

Our son was seen by Dr. Wurst in the ER with a foreign body foot puncher. Foreign body being WOOD, which we had in a clear bag and informed the door and showed him the piece. He only ordered an x-ray to check for fracture. Wood will not show up on x-ray only ultrasound (per Norton Healthcare and medical community!) Less than 24 hours later, our son ended up in Norton's Children Healthcare with an acute infection which required IV antibiotics, extensive surgery and a week long hospitalization! According to NCH, he could have lost his foot or life, if we hadn't seemed further medical attention! Will never go back to Baptist Health Floyd!!

I just received a bill for "Detailed Examination" by Dr. Kevin Wurst in relation to an ER visit made last week. But I _never_ saw Dr. Kevin Wurst; and, more importantly, he _never_ saw me! How can a doctor send a patient a bill for making a detailed examination of the patient when in fact the doctor never even saw the patient!?!

It's been a while since I've been seen by Dr. Wurst, but I still feel compelled to write a review to warn others. I came in with severe abdominal and back pain, naseau and other syptoms. Like others, I was told emergency rooms are for emergencies. He threw, yes threw, a prescription of previcid at me and stormed out of the room. Twenty-four hours later I went to Clark Memorial where I had emergency surgery. Thank God the doctors there took me seriously and treated me quickly. I can handle a mis-diagnosis, because doctors are humans and this sometimes happens, but his complacency is dangerous. I would give him a negative 10 if I could.

He was a Rude, no bedside manner!!

Dr. wurst is horrible. I went in for abdominal pain. After i waited for 3 hours doubled over, he finally gave allowed me to have pain medicine. He later told me he could not diagnos my condition, which was fine, but he was so rude the intire time. Not to mention very rushed and unprofessional . Dr. Wurst seemed as though I didnt deserve his attention because I wasn't blessing to death. Also, my mother saw him about 10 years ago. She was Having chest pain. Dr. Wurst told my mother that emergency rooms were for emergencies and sent her on her way. Come to find out, she was having a heart attack. So Dr. Wurst, if you ever read this just know that I don't like you and think you need to retire.

Most terrible experience of my adult life. How did this guy actually graduate medical school. Terrible bedside manner, not to mention miss-diagnosis which caused me to be admitted to the hospital 10 days later. Avoid this doctor if you possibly can.
