I chose medicine because I like helping people. I want my patients to live very long, happy lives. As a family medicine physician I focus on patient health. I try to get my patients to be as healthy as they can be and I love working with them on that process. As a doctor of osteopathic medicine, I try to also focus on the whole body. I look at the patient's entire health profile including their stress and mental health because all of this is part of your health — body, mind and soul. I treat patients of all ages and my feeling is that if I can help my patient achieve their best health, then maybe I will see their children and grandchildren someday, too. I try to treat my patients as if they were a friend. I work together with them, rather than being rigid and giving orders. Everyone comes from a different a background; so I like to work with them to come up with a strategy for their care. I am a doctor who listens to my patients and cares about them.
