I scheduled my annual physical with Dr. Sam after reading the great reviews she had. When arriving to the office the staff was very friendly and I was taken to patient room very quickly. I had the first appointment but still waited for the doctor for close to 20 minutes. Dr. Sam came into the room asking me if I would be ok if I could just have my bloodwork performed and then reschedule to come back to do the rest of the physical but that the additional visit would result in a separate visit and I would be charged for this visit. I told her I wanted to have my physical visit all in one day and she said that then she would have to rush my visit. When asking what bloodwork I wanted to check I said everything that is in the scope of an annual physical that is covered by the universal health coverage by law. Fast forward a few weeks, I get a huge bill from labwork ($700 +) that was out of the scope of a physical. I reached out to the lab as well as the doctor office and then to my… insurance provider. The response was the doctor ordered additional labwork because one of results came out of range when I asked dr. sam what this means her response "it is nothing to be concerned and doesnt pose a problem" My response was why did you proceed in asking for additional labwork then not only without my consent but also since it did not pose a problem or health risk. I know have a heft debt to the lab. I will never see this doc again and warn anyone else as she will try to run what she can to make extra off of you or your insurance provider.

Dr. Sam is incredible! Not only has she taken great care of my health, but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with an outstanding quality of medical care. I highly recommend becoming her patient!

Dr Sam was very patient and friendly with excellent bedside manners. She made me feel at ease. She took the time to explain everything in detail. Would definitely go back to her in the future.
